Hoya Defense Takes Next Man Up Approach with Leadership

New leaders, but same mentality for Georgetown football defense

2016: Appeared in 10 games, making one start, as a sophomore … Recorded 18 tackles … Blocked a kick against Fordham (10/22) … Made five tackles in back-to-back games against Bucknell (11/12) and Colgate (11/19) … Had two tackles and pass breakup against Davidson (9/3).

2015: Played in four games, seeing time at linebacker and on special teams...Had two tackles apiece at St. Francis (Pa.) (9/5) and vs. Marist (9/12)...Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

High School: A three-year letterwinner in football...Selected team captain for his senior season...Named the Forsyth County Defensive Player of the Year in 2014...A First Team All-Region 6A...Helped lead Lambert to the state playoffs in 2011, 2013 and 2014...Set Lambert single-season tackles record (124), single-season tackles for loss record (34) and career tackles record (296)...Also lettered in baseball and track and field...Coached in high school by Louis Daniel.
