David Butler joined the Georgetown coaching staff in June 2017. He will assist Alex Kolt with the offensive line.

Butler comes to the Hilltop after a four-year playing career at Saint Vincent College where he was a wide receiver and two-year captain. He was a two-time Presidents Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll member and a recipient of the SVC Bearcat Football Mike Scatena for Academic Excellence Award for the highest GPA on the team.

Off the field, he was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Lamda Pi Eta (National Communications Society).

A native of York, Pa., Butler graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a concentration in public relations and advertising. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies, studying sports industry management.
