In his first season he helped Tucker Stafford complete his transition from quarterback to tight end, as Stafford led the team's TE's with 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. At Georgetown, Kolt will assist offensive line coach Brian Miller with the offensive line in addition to working with tight ends, special teams, defensive scout teams and breaking down film. Kolt is in his first coaching position after playing four seasons, while starting two at Hampden-Sydney College on the offensive line. At Hampden-Sydney, Kolt helped his team to conference championships in 2007 and 2009, finishing No. 14 in the nation in 2009. Kolt was also a three-time Academic All Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Kolt, an Arlington, Virginia native, graduated from Hampden-Sydney with a B.A. in history and a minor in rhetoric and earned his Master's of Education in Sports Leadership. |
