Rob Belli is a fourth year coach for Georgetown this season. He played two years at tailback under Head Coach Benson during 1998-1999 and will coach the current Hoya running backs for the fourth straight year.

Belli earned a degree from Georgetown in 2000. He was GU's leading rusher in both 1998 and 1999 gaining 700 yards in 1998 and 826 in 1999. Belli scored 17 touchdowns in 1999 and set the Georgetown single season record. He stands fifth all time in career rushing yardage, racking up 1,526 during his career. As a senior he was awarded the John "Jack" L. Hagerty Award given to the outstanding back on the Hoya football team. Belli's teams won two MAAC Championships during his time in the Blue and Gray. He also played on the same field with assistant coach Mike Mattia. Belli spent a year and a half at the University of Richmond before transferring to Georgetown.

He currently resides in Washington, DC.
