Prior to Georgetown: Was a three-year starter for the Westfield High School football team, serving as team captain his senior year for head coach Kyle Simmons … Named second team all-district as a junior and first team all-district, first team all-region, second team all-state and All-Met Honorable Mention as a senior … Finished with a school-record 25 career sacks, including a school-record 16 sacks as a senior … Also finished career with 156 tackles, 47 tackles for loss and nine forced fumbles … Helped lead Westfield to three-straight district championships (2014-16) as well as regional and state championships in 2015 and 2016 … Was also a two-year starter on the lacrosse team, earning all-district honorable mention honors … Off the playing field, was a two-year member of the Student Government Association.
