JUNIOR SLOT Max Waizenegger
On his 71 yard touchdown reception...
It was a broken play, Isaiah got flushed out of the pocket and I was just along the sideline. They blitzed a lot of people, he rolled out and he threw me the ball and I was able to get to the end zone. What we're taught to do is that the deepest receiver on a broken play just supposed to run down the sideline. I did that and he just found me.

On the importance of the final touchdown...
It was a lot more than just me. You have to have the good blocking, you need a perfect throw, so I was just lucky to be in the right place. I didn't know if he saw me, but when he rolled out we made eye contact, he found me and it was just a foot race to the end zone.

HEAD COACH Kevin Kelly
On the victory over Wagner...
It was a very hard fought football game, I have to tip my cap to Wagner. It was seven points there for a long time. I'm really happy with our defense, they bent a little bit, but didn't break and then made a real big play there at the end.

On the matchup with Wagner...
I thought after last year that this would be a close game. I said to my defensive coordinator before the game that this would be a seven point game and that's what it was for most of it.

On Georgetown's final touchdown, a 71-yard pass from Kempf to Waizenegger...
Isaiah kept his eyes downfield and made a good throw and Max seems to do that for us. He's had a lot of big plays for us this year. Isaiah, even though he was getting pressured all day, kept his eyes downfield and made a big play for us when we needed it.

SENIOR SAFETY David Quintero
On his fourth quarter interception...
We were in cover three, they ran a post ball and we had Jayah on top and I broke underneath and caught the ball at its highest point.

On the pressure of playing defense in a close game...
We're very confident in the team game. We knew that if we bowed up and gave our offense the ball they would make a big play.

On holding Wagner to under 80 yards rushing...
That's a credit to our front seven. I think our front seven is one of the top in the country with Schaetzke and McCabe. It's tough to run on them.
