Football Opens Summer Camp Registration

Jan. 28, 2011

WASHINGTON - The 2011 Hoya Football Camp opened registration for both sessions this past week. Georgetown will host two full day sessions with practice being held on Multi-Sport Field. The camp is designed for boys entering grades 7-12 in the fall.

Hoya Football Camp is designed to teach, develop and improve skills for all the positions in football. The camp provides a contact-free environment without pads and/or helmets so maximum learning and positive results will be achieved.

Georgetown Head Coach Kevin Kelly is in his sixth season on the Hilltop and serves as the camp director. With over 26 years of college coaching experience, Coach Kelly has led teams to conference titles, as well as participation in the Motor City, GMAC, Music City, Emerald, Poinsettia, Houston and Sugar Bowls and earned a NCAA Div IAA National Title. Many of his players have received honors including, Rookie of the Year, All-American, and some are currently active in the NFL.

The staff also includes Georgetown position coaches and strength coaches.

Camp will be held on June 11 and on July 23, registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Campers can register online or by mailing in the completed forms and a check.
