Georgetown Football Announces 28-Member Incoming Class

WASHINGTON - Head Coach Rob Sgarlata and the Georgetown University football team announced its 28-member recruiting class on National Signing Day. The Hoyas add 15 student-athletes on defense, 12 on offense and one on special teams.

"I am extremely excited to welcome the Class of 2021 to the Hoya Football Family," Sgarlata said. "Our staff did a tremendous job of recruiting an extremely talented group who excelled both in the classroom and on the field in high school. The outstanding academic reputation and national brand of Georgetown University has allowed us to attract 23 team captains and 19 multi-sport athletes from 12 states. We made a commitment to "Defend the District" this year by signing seven local recruits. Judging by the talent in this class it is apparent that the future of Hoya Football is very bright."
