"It is always great to have former Hoyas return to the Hilltop to work with our student-athletes," Sgarlata said. "Maurice brings a wealth of experience to our staff. His time as a very successful student-athlete while at Georgetown will prove invaluable to our current players. Over the past decade he has expanded his knowledge both as a player and a coach. Maurice knows what it takes to succeed in the classroom and on the field at Georgetown. He will be a great mentor to our players in both areas."
