Georgetown Football Training Camp Begins at Multi-Sport Field

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team has begun its 2010 summer training camp, completing the first day of 300 yard shuttle training, meetings and a 4 p.m. practice on Monday. The Hoyas will continue with practice once per day until Saturday, August 14, before beginning two-a-days the following week. All practices, at the Multi-Sport Field on campus at Georgetown, are open to the public.

Practice for Tuesday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 11 will be held at 7 p.m. On Thursday and Friday practice will be held at 4 p.m.

Two-a-day practices will begin on Saturday with the Hoyas taking the field at 8:30 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. GU will hold two-a-day practices on six days during the course of training camp, all beginning at 8:30 a.m. with the afternoon/evening practice at varying times.

Georgetown will hold a scrimmage at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 21.
