Football to Host Post Game Meet and Greet Following Wagner Game

Georgetown will host a post-game meet and greet following its season-opener.

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team will host a post-game meet and greet following its Saturday, August 30 season-opener against Wagner College. Kick-off is scheduled for noon at Multi-Sport Field.

All fans in attendance will be welcomed onto the field following the game for an opportunity to meet, take pictures and receive autographs from the 2014 Georgetown football team. Fans will receive a complimentary Georgetown football autograph card. Tickets for Saturday's game are now on sale by visiting -

Saturday is the beginning of the Rob Sgarlata era on the Hilltop, as the long-time Hoya will debut as head coach. Sgarlata, a standout running back on the Hilltop in the early 1990's, has spent the last 18 seasons on the coaching staff, including the past eight seasons as the defensive coordinator. He will lead a squad returning 14 starters, including 2014 Preseason All-Patriot League selection Nick Alfieri.
