Kyle Nolan and Matt Satchell Earn Patriot League Weekly Honor Mention

Kyle Nolan had a hand in each of GU's three touchdowns in Saturday's victory.

WASHINGTON - Senior quarterback Kyle Nolan (Branford, Conn./Branford[Choate Rosemary Hall]) and senior linebacker Matt Satchell (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) were both selected as Corvias Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention when the league announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon.

Nolan completed 21-of-32 passes for 264 yards and two touchdown passes, both to junior wide receiver Justin Hill (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour). Nolan also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown to help GU defeat Columbia, 24-16. This is the fourth weekly honor Nolan has earned during his career.

Satchell tied a career-high with 13 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and a forced fumble, as GU claimed the Lou Little Trophy with its win over Columbia. This is the first weekly honor earned by Satchell during his career.

The Hoyas have already begun preparation for Friday night's game against Harvard under the lights at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, Mass. The game, set to be aired on ESPN3, is scheduled for 7 p.m.
