Quarterback David Paulus Named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Georgetown senior quarterback David Paulus (Manlius, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in a last second 32-31 win over Bucknell this weekend. Paulus passed for 350 yards and five second-half scores, including the game-winner with 13 seconds left, to lift Georgetown to its first League victory since joining the Patriot League in 2001.
Down 17-0 at the half, Paulus helped rally the Hoyas, finishing the afternoon 31-48 passing and averaging 37.0 yards on six punts.
