WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team returns to play again this weekend, traveling to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. for a Saturday afternoon matchup with Marist. The Hoyas will kick off against the Red Foxes on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. at Leonidoff Field.

Georgetown enters the game with an 0-8 overall record and an 0-5 mark in the Patriot League. The Red Foxes enter the game with a 5-3 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the Pioneer League. Georgetown's last win was a 13-12 decision over Marist on Nov. 8 last year at the Multi-Sport Field. In that game, junior running back Philip Oladeji (Plano, Texas/Plano East) carried the ball 13 times for 100 yards, while junior Keerome Lawrence (West Haven, Conn./James Hillhouse) threw an 18-yard touchdown pass and senior kicker Jose-Pablo Buerba (Phoenix, Ariz./Brophy College Prep) booted a pair of field goals.
Senior running back Charlie Houghton (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Phillips Academy) ran for 112 yards last week against Old Dominion and returned five kickoffs for 122 yards. Two years ago at Marist, Houghton had one of the best days of his career, carrying the ball 27 times for 163 yards and four touchdowns in a 37-34 loss to the Red Foxes.
Houghton has been effective for the Hoyas this year, appearing in all but one game. He has rushed for 245 yards and is third on the team in receptions with 19 for 111 yards. The senior also leads the team with 439 kick return yards. Houghton is second in the Patriot League in all-purpose yardage, averaging 113.6 yards per game.
Freshman quarterback Isaiah Kempf (Glendale, Ariz./Oaks Christian [Calif.]), who was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Sept. 28 after throwing for 332 yards in a loss to Yale, has completed 49.8 percent of his passes (114-of-229) for 1,063 yards and one touchdown. Kempf ranks fifth in the Patriot League with 151.9 passing yards per game and fifth in the league in total offense, with 144.0 yards per game. Sophomore quarterback Scott Darby (Tewksbury, Mass./St. John's Prep) threw for 92 yards and one touchdown in the second half of last week's game at ODU.
The favorite target on the receiving end has been senior slot Robert Lane (Greensboro, N.C./Grimsley), who leads the team with 38 catches for 367 yards. Lane is sixth in the conference with 4.8 receptions per game. Buerba is second in the Patriot League in field goals with six and ranks second with 0.75 kicks made per game.
Junior linebacker Nick Parrish (Irving, Texas/Jesuit College Prep) leads the Patriot League in tackles with 78 and is second in stops per game with 9.8. Parrish, who was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 28 after registering 17 tackles against Yale, is one of five Georgetown players among the top-20 in the league in tackles per game.
Sophomore David Quintero (Miramar, Fla./Ft. Lauderdale) stands seventh with 63 tackles (7.9 per game) and junior Patrick O'Donnell (Media, Pa./Penncrest), who had 18 tackles two weeks ago against Colgate, is ninth with 52 tackles (7.4 per game). Senior Travis Mack (West Chester, Pa./The Hill School) is 14th with 6.5 tackles (52 overall) and junior Paul Sant'Ambrogio (Bloomfield, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) is 20th with 5.8 tackles per game (46 overall).
