The Georgetown University football team fell in its final home game of the season, 21-7, to Bucknell University on Saturday evening. The loss, GU’s seventh-straight setback, dropped the Hoyas to 3-7 overall and 0-5 in Patriot League Play.

Approaching Milestones
Michael Dereus (Hyde Park, Mass./Williston Northampton) leads the Hoyas in every receiving category this season, including catches (37), yards (633), yards per catch (17.1) and touchdowns (5). He needs just 11 catches, 86 receiving yards and one more touchdown to climb into Georgetown's single-season top 10. His yards per catch mark is currently tied for 10th in program history.

David Akere (Carrollton, Texas/Hebron) leads the defense with 76 tackles on the season, ranking fourth in the Patriot League, and needs just three more tackles to set a new career high. He currently has 251 career tackles, which ranks seventh all-time in the Georgetown record books. He needs just 10 more tackles to pass Jim Bolger ('92) for sixth.
