WASHINGTON - Senior wide receiver Harrison Glor (Boston, Mass./Belmont Hill/Deerfield) and junior defensive end Phil Novacki (Great Falls, Va./Langley) were named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team when the league office announced honors on Wednesday morning. Both earned their first selection to the all-academic team.

The Academic All-Patriot League Team honors student-athletes who excel both on and off the field, and has 14 student-athletes to equal one-half the size of the football first-team All-Patriot League squad. The awards are voted on by the Patriot League's football sports information directors. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.

Glor, a human sciences major in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection. He had his best season on the field, starting 10-of-11 games at wide receiver, finishing with 30 receptions for 281 yards and three touchdowns. Away from the field, Glor has worked with teammates Jake DeCicco and Kyle Nolan on the startup company, Sunniva Caffe, a “super coffee” product that is now in stores in the D.C. area. He has also remained active in Georgetown’s efforts with Friends of Jaclyn during the past two seasons.

Novacki, a finance major in the McDonough School of Business, is a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection and a member of the Dean’s List. Novacki has also been an active part of the Hoyas’ efforts with Friends of Jaclyn. On the field, he started 10 games at defensive end, finishing with 45 tackles, and 7.5 tackles for loss of 41 yards. Novacki finished tenth in the PL with 4.0 sacks.
