WASHINGTON - Senior linebacker Nick Parrish (Irving, Texas/Dallas Jesuit) has been selected to play in the inaugural FCS Senior Scout Bowl, set to take place on Saturday, December 11 at 2 p.m. at Faller Field in Middletown, N.Y. The game will be broadcast live on Fox College Sports Network. Parrish will be playing for the South squad.

Parrish concluded a historic career on the Hilltop as Georgetown's career tackles leader, compiling 349 tackles during his four-year career, in which he started all but three games. He broke Tom Wonica's previous record in the Hoyas' 28-24 victory over Lafayette on Sept. 11, 2010. In 2010, Parrish registered 92 tackles and earned second team All Patriot League honors. In 2008, he became just the second player in Patriot League history and 23rd player in Division I FCS to return two interceptions for touchdown in a single game.

Parrish was just the seventh two-time captain since the Georgetown football program began in 1887 and was the 2010 recipient of the No. 35 Joe Eacobacci Memorial Jersey. He will now get his opportunity to showcase his talents in an effort to move to the next level.

The game, presented by the Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL) will bring top seniors from FCS Division football programs to work out in a combine style setting before showcasing their talents during the North vs. South game on Saturday, December 11.
