Football Signs Five During Early Signing Period

WASHINGTON - Head Coach Rob Sgarlata and the Georgetown University football team have announced the signing of five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent (NLI) during the December early signing period. The Hoyas have added four offensive and one defensive player, consisting of two offensive lineman, a tight end, a wide receiver and a defensive back, who will join the Blue & Gray next fall as members of Georgetown's Class of 2022.

Was a three-year starter at East Lyme High School, serving as a team captain his senior year ... Named Eastern Connecticut Conference (ECC) First Team in 2017, and honorable mention in 2016 ... Caught 20 passes for 558 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior ... Also a member of the baseball, basketball and track & field programs, serving as a captain of the track & field team ... Helped lead the track & field team to back-to-back ECC Championships and the baseball team to a state runner up finish in 2016 ... In the classroom, was a four-year honor roll student ... Father, Todd, and uncle, Brian, both played football at Bucknell University, and his mother, Lori, was a cheerleader at Bucknell.
