Men's Golf Finishes Two Rounds at Cardinal Intercollegiate

Curtis Loop is tied with fellow Hoya Greg Podufal for 38th place the Cardinal Intercollegiate.

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team recorded at two round total of 610 at the Cardinal Intercollegiate. On a cool day when the start time was pushed back an hour due to frost the Hoyas took a round to get warmed up, shooting a 300 in round two after a 310 in round one. Georgetown is 34 over par and tied for 14th place with Cincinnati.

Leading the competition is Bowling Green with an eight under 568. Louisville sits in second with Murray State, Austin Peay and Arkansas Little Rock rounding out the top five.

Hoya Greg Podufal (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) shot a 148 (76-72) and is tied for 38th along with teammate Curtis Loop (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan), who shot a 75-73.

Freshman Raleigh Chapin (Doylestown, Pa./New Hope Solebury), playing for the first time in the Hoya lineup is tied at 63rd with a 154 (79-75). Brian Tohir (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) and Justin Edwards (Westlake Village, Calif./Westlake Village) rank 83rd and 84th respectively.
