Greg Podufal Sixth Overall After Two Rounds at Cobra-PUMA Invitational

MIROMAR LAKES, Fla. - Junior captain Greg Podufal is sixth overall, shooting a three-under par 141 through the first 36 holes, as the Georgetown University men's golf team is tied for sixth of 13 teams, shooting a 17-over 593 on the first day at the Cobra PUMA Invitational at Miromar Lakes Golf Club.

Podufal shot a three-under par 69 during the first round and an even par 72 in the second round to place him near the top of the leaderboard. Senior captain Charlie von Arentschildt is currently tied for 14th after an even par second round put him at two-over par 143 on the first day.

Senior captain Ed McCrossen is tied for 36th overall shooting a six-over par 150, highlighted by a second round 73. Matthew Moosavian is 66 overall carding a plus-17 161 during the first two rounds, while Brian Tohir rounds out the Hoyas top five, shooting a 19-over par 163.

Florida Gulf Coast leads the field, shooting eight-under par through two rounds, while Florida Atlantic and Bethune Cookman round out the top three. Edward Figueroa is the current leader, shooting nine-under par, while St. Joseph's T.J. McNulty and Ryan McCormick are second and third, respectively.

The third round begins early on Monday morning to conclude the Cobra-PUMA Invitational
