Georgetown in 24th Place at NCAA Men?s Golf Championship

NEW HAVEN, CONN. -- Georgetown University?s men?s golf team is in 24th
place after shooting a combined 307 in round two of the 2004 NCAA Men?s Golf
Championship -- Eastern Regional being held at
Yale University
?s The
Course at Yale. The Hoyas were tied at 18th following round one and have
shot a combined 611 (304-307).
Penn State
is leading the 27-team tournament with a
575 (290-285).

Georgetown senior co-captain James Farrah (Potomac, Md./Georgetown Prep) is in a tie for ninth place overall with a 142 (71-71). Fellow senior co-captain Nick Cook (Shelton, Conn./Fairfield Prep) closed the day in a tie for 51st place at 148 (71-77). Matt Myers (St. Joseph, Mo./Central High School) shot a 77 in round two and is tied at 120th with a 157 overall.  Tim Moynihan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Franklin Regional) and David Erickson (Edina, Minn./The Blake School) sit at 135th (82-82) and 138th (84-83) respectively.
