WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team is back in action again on Monday, Oct. 10, starting play in the Bearcat Invitational, being hosted by the University of Cincinnati at the Traditions Golf Club in Hebron, Ky.

Georgetown is led by senior and co-captain Brian Dorfman (Greenwood Village, Colo./Cherry Creek), who fired a 4-under par 68 in the final round and finished in ninth place at the Xavier Invitational last week (2-under par 214). Dorfman leads the team with a 71.89 stroke average.

Senior co-captain Taylor Hall (Roswell, Ga./Trinity) and junior Curtis Loop (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) have been among the team's top two or three finishers this season. Loop, who finished in fifth place at the season-opening Maryland Intercollegiate, is second on the team with a 73.11 stroke average. As the team has in its first three tournaments this season, the lineup will be rounded out by a pair of freshmen, Greg Podufal (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) and classmate Brian Tohir (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan). Podufal is fourth on the team with a 74.22 stroke average and Tohir is fifth at 78.11.
