Senior face-off specialist Brian Tabb (Bethesda, Md./Georgetown Prep) became the second player in Georgetown men's lacrosse history to eclipse the 400 face-off win mark during the third quarter, then scored his first career goal with nine seconds left, as the Hoyas (7-6, 3-3 BIG EAST) defeated Rutgers (6-9, 1-5 BIG EAST) 13-8 on Senior Night at Multi-Sport Field.

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's lacrosse team (6-6, 2-3 BIG EAST) hosts the Rutgers (6-8, 1-4 BIG EAST) on Friday night at Multi-Sport Field in the Hoyas season-finale with the opening face-off scheduled for 7:06 p.m. This will be the 15th consecutive season that GU and the Scarlet Knights have met, with the Hoyas winning all 14 of the previous matchups.
