Tyler Knarr breaks Hoyas' single-season ground balls record
2010: Served as the team's primary face-off specialist ... Finished the season winning 55.2 percent of his attempts (174-of-315) ... Ranked No. 22 in the country, and third in the BIG EAST, in face-off win percentage ... Collected a team-high 82 ground balls ... Ranked No. 7 in the country in ground balls per game with 6.14 ... Won at least 15 face-off attempts five times ... Set a season-high with 16 wins against Maryland, Harvard, Syracuse, Duke and Navy.
