Chris Fisher joined the Georgetown University men's lacrosse coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in September of 2017. He comes to the Hilltop after spending two years as an assistant coach at Wesley College.
With the Wolverines, Fisher served as the defensive coordinator and developed the team's strength and conditioning program. While working towards his master's degree in sport leadership, he also oversaw Wesley's student-athlete academic progress.
No stranger to the BIG EAST, Fisher was a key contributor of the St. John's midfield from 2012-15. He ended his career with the Red Storm with 66 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers while tallying two goals and three assists for five career points as a long stick midfielder. Fisher was named BIG EAST All-Academic as a junior and senior and graduated summa cum laude from St. John's with a degree in sports management.
