Georgetown men's lacrosse hosted University of Virginia for the first time on Senior Night at a sold out Cooper Field.


Georgetown vs. Mount St. Mary's

The Georgetown men's lacrosse team fell to Mount St. Mary's in the 2016 home-opener at Cooper Field.

2018: BIG EAST Champions … Played in all 17 games as a key part of Georgetown’s top-line rope unit … Led the Hoyas with 22 caused turnovers to go with 21 ground balls … Was credited with three caused turnovers against Marist (3/6), Hobart (3/10) and Providence (4/7) … Georgetown’s defense held opponents to just 8.12 goals per game and held opponents to six goals or less in eight different games … Tallied three goals and an assist on the season … Scored a goal against No. 19 Towson (2/24), Drexel (3/17) and No. 12/14 Villanova in the BIG EAST Semifinals.

2017: Appeared in nine games … Wrapped up the season with a goal in the season finale against St. John’s (4/29) … Collected seven ground balls as a junior, including a season-high two GBs in the season opener against High Point (2/14).

2016: Saw action in all 14 games as a sophomore … Scored one goal and tallied one assist for two total points … Logged his lone goal against Virginia (4/23) and picked up his assist in the season-opener against top-ranked Notre Dame (2/20) … Collected nine ground balls on the year, including a season-high three against BIG EAST Champions Marquette (3/26) … Credited with four caused turnovers with one each against Mount St. Mary’s (3/1), Marquette, Providence (4/9) and Virginia … Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

2015: Appeared in 14 games primarily as a defensive middie ... Finished the season with one goal, 11 ground balls and two caused turnovers ... Picked up three ground balls against Providence (4/4) and St. John’s (4/25) ... Scored his first collegiate goal in a win over Villanova (4/11).

Prior to Georgetown: A three-year letterwinner and two-year starter as a midfielder in lacrosse and a three-year letterwinner and three-year starter at quarterback in football ... Named lacrosse team captain for his senior season ... Selected Saint Anthony’s Athlete of the Year for 2013-14 ... Lacrosse team went 37-15 during his career, with a league championship in 2012 ... Scored 40 goals and had 10 assists in 52 high school games ... Played club for Long Island Express ... Coached in lacrosse by Mike Chanenchuk, Mike Schwalje, Jack Moran and Keith Wieczorek.
