FOLSOM, Pa. - The Georgetown University men's lacrosse team (4-8, 1-3 BIG EAST) struggled to break through against No. 19/20 Lehigh's (10-4) defense in a 12-3 loss on Saturday evening in the Relentless Cup at Ridley High School.

Graduate student Tyler Knarr (Eagleville, Pa./LaSalle College) won 13-of-19 face-offs and picked up seven ground balls, while redshirt junior goalie Jake Haley (Grasonville, Md./Queen Anne's County) had a career-high 17 saves, but the Hoyas could only manage three goals against the nation's second ranked scoring defense.

Lehigh took advantage of an early man-up opportunity in the first quarter, as Dylan O'Shaughnessy put the Mountain Hawks in front 1-0 with 10:25 remaining. Just over a minute later Lehigh scored again to extend the lead to two.

Sophomore Corey Parke (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford) answered for the Hoyas, scoring his first collegiate goal on an assist from junior attack Bo Stafford (Greenwich, Conn./Brunswick) with 7:03 remaining in the first quarter. It would be the last goal of the first quarter, with GU trailing 2-1.

The Hoyas were held scoreless in the second quarter, as Lehigh added two more goals to take a 4-1 lead going into the half. The Mountain Hawks scored the first three goals in the third quarter before freshman midfielder Eduardo White (Englewood, Colo./Kent Denver) had an answer with 3:24 remaining.

Junior midfielder Mitch Hugdahl (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) scored unassisted for the Hoyas lone goal of the fourth quarter, as GU fell to Lehigh 12-3.
