Men's Soccer Announces 2012 Captains

Georgetown University Head Men's Soccer Coach Brian Wiese announced the 2012 team captains on Monday. Joining 2011 junior captains Ian Christianson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Christian Life) and Tommy Muller (Altamonte Springs, Fla./Trinity Prep) are senior Jimmy Nealis (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) and junior Steve Neumann (New Hope, Pa./Council Rock North). The four will lead the 2012 squad which will open fall play on August 24.

Men's Soccer Releases 2012 Fall Schedule

The Georgetown University men's soccer team released its 2012 schedule on Monday. The Hoyas will play nine home games at North Kehoe Field as well as one game at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, Md. GU also has a challenging road slate including a two-game weekend in the Midwest. The Blue & Gray will face six NCAA Tournament squads from a year ago.

Men's Soccer Completes Spring Season with Annual Banquet

The Georgetown University men's soccer team held its annual banquet on Friday to recognize the accomplishments of the 2011 squad. The team gave out its three major awards and honored both team and individual successes throughout the season. Georgetown earned a BIG EAST Tournament and spent time in the national rankings this season.

Goodman Signs National Letter of Intent

Georgetown University Men's Soccer Head Coach Brian Wiese announced the addition of Bakie Goodman (Sarasota, Fla./Pine View School for the Gifted) to the program's incoming recruiting class. Goodman signed a National Letter of Intent and will begin coursework in January, before starting his soccer career on the Hilltop in August, 2013.

Men's Soccer Updates Spring Schedule

The Georgetown University men's soccer team has updated its spring schedule. The squad will host the U.S. Naval Academy on Saturday afternoon at noon at North Kehoe Field. Georgetown opened spring play in Barcelona, Spain with a pair of games against third division Spanish squads.
