2016: Team captain … Started all 15 games he played in for the Blue & Gray … Tallied a record of 4-9-2 with 63 saves and a 1.23 GAA … Had four shutouts on the year … Moved into the fifth spot in career shutouts with 13 … Had eight saves at Akron and at Providence … Took the spring semester off to train with the U-20 United States Men’s National Team in preparation for the 2017 U-20 FIFA World Cup in Korea Republic … His time with the national team included training and games in Costa Rica … The squad eventually fell in the quarterfinals to Venezuela, 2-1, ending its run in the tournament … Started in one game with the squad playing the full 90 minutes, allowing one goal and getting the victory … Named BIG EAST Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year and Preseason All-BIG EAST.
