Luke Wildy came to the Hilltop in the spring of 2017. Wildy’s arrival at GU came after a three-year stint as an assistant coach at George Washington University. He assists in all aspects of the program, focusing on recruiting.

In his three seasons at GW, Wildy coached three all-region award winners, one Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and six All-A-10 honorees. He also had one player earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, and six named to the A-10 All-Academic Team.

In 2015, Wildy helped guide the Colonials' impressive turnaround that included the program's first 10-win season since 2011 and the Atlantic 10 regular season title. GW was also ranked regionally for the first time in four years, and the coaching staff earned Atlantic 10 Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

Prior to joining the Colonials, Wildy spent the 2013 season at nearby Catholic University, helping guide the Cardinals to a Landmark Conference regular season title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to Catholic, Wildy spent three years as the director of coaching for Excite Soccer Programs, coaching a variety of youth soccer teams throughout the Washington Metro area. This included a one-year stint as an assistant coach with the Potomac Academy U-16 team.

A midfielder and two-time team captain at GW from 2006-09, Wildy helped lead the Colonials to back-to-back D.C. College Cup titles in 2007 and 2008 and earned All-Tournament Team accolades in 2006 and 2007. He was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the first week of his freshman season after scoring two goals against the Hoyas in his collegiate debut as well as Wiese’s first game as a head coach on the Hilltop.

A native of Crawley, England, Wildy earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from GW in 2010. He was a four-time member of GW's Athletics Academic Dean's List and served as a team representative to GW's Student-Athlete Advisory Council as a senior.

Wildy currently holds a USSF National B License, and currently works with the Bethesda Soccer Club U-16 Blue. He resides in Washington, D.C., with his wife Katelyn Langs.
