Jeff Curtin Named 2005 SoccerTimes.com Honorable Mention All-America

Washington, D.C. -- Georgetown University men's soccer standout Jeff Curtin (Oreland, Pa./Germantown Acad.) was named Honorable Mention All-America by SoccerTimes.com.

Curtin finishes his decorated career ranked among the school's top 20 with 12 career goals and 31 career points out of his defender position.

Curtin was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Year in 2002 before earning BIG EAST Preseason Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2005. He was a four-time BIG EAST Second Team honoree while earning National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) South Atlantic Region All- American second and third team honors in 2004 and 2003, respectively. Also in 2002, Curtin was named Soccer America Freshman All-American and CollegeSoccerNews.com All-Freshman First Team.

In his senior season in 2005, Curtin helped lead the Hoyas to a 10-9-1 overall mark, 6-5 in the BIG EAST and an appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament.
