Georgetown's Ricky Schramm Named to NSCAA/adidas Division I All-Northeast Third Team

Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University men's soccer standout Ricky Schramm (Eastchester, N.Y./Fordham Prep) has been selected to the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's Division I All-Northeast Region Third Team as announced by the NSCAA on Wednesday afternoon.
Schramm led the Hoyas in scoring for the third straight season. The forward ranked third in the BIG EAST with 10 goals and fourth in the league with 24 points.
Schramm tallied eight goals over a nine-game span from September 10 until October 10 including five goals against conference opponents.
Schramm finishes his Georgetown career tied for third on the school's all-time list with Raul Ferrer (1992-95) with 39 career goals. Schramm, a two-time team MVP, also concludes his career tied for fourth all-time with Tim Keegan (1990-94) with 93 career points.
Schramm, also earned All-BIG EAST second team honors following the 2006 season after being named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year in 2004 and All-BIG EAST third team in 2005.
