Hoyas Win in Opening Round of BIG EAST Tournament

2016-17: As a sophomore, Chen led the team with 16 singles wins on the year, also posting an 11-10 record in doubles play ... Began the fall season with a convincing 7-6, 6-3, 10-5 victory over Rok Bozic of UDC and a dominant 8-3 doubles win against UDC with partner Jordan Portner ... Opened spring play with both singles and doubles victories against Drexel before clinching a hard-fought match against Sean Mullins of Boston College by a score of 7-6, 4-6, 10-7 ... Led the team to a huge win over UC San Diego by beating Marius Ruh 6-0, 4-6, 6-4 in his singles match, and claiming his doubles match 7-6 with teammate Ian Witmer ... Went on a five match win streak from April 2 to April 20, conquering opponents from Navy, The Citadel, Temple, Emory, and GW ... Finished the year with doubles victories against St. John's and Butler in the BIG EAST Championship.

2015-16: The freshman posted an 18-9 overall record in singles play and an 11-9 overall record in doubles play ... Joe Hunt Invitational Flight B runner-up ... Posted an 11-4 record in spring singles play ... Went 9-6 with partner Jordan Portner in doubles play ...
