Hoyas went undefeated against league foes during the regular season, defeating Villanova, UConn and St. John's.
The Hoyas defeated George Mason 6-1 at home in men's tennis.
GU now owns an 11-9 overalll mark and is 9-1 at home.
2014-2015: Went 2-8 in singles play and 3-2 in doubles... his spring victory came over Jonathan O'Neal of Campbell... In the spring, Korber and Andrew Dottino defeated Morgan State University's Felix Andre and Treajh Ferguson 6-4... Korber went 2-0 in the fall season with wins over George Washington and UDC, the win over GW came when partnered with Jordan Portner and the victory over UDC came with Jack Murphy.
2013-2014: Concluded the spring season with a record of 6-13 in singles and 7-4 in doubles play...Had consecutive victories against Zachary Morris of Bryant University and Robert Lightbourn of Davidson...Last singles victory of the season against Ryen Peyton of Villanova... Went 1-1 in doubles play with Casey Distaso as his partner, 1-0 with Jordan Portner and 5-3 when playing with Alex Tropiano...Went on a three-match win streak with Tropiano; the streak included wins over Dzmitry Zyhmantovich and Peter Ramstromer-Pello of Norfolk State, Justin Carter and Melker Svard of UMBC and Kelly Donaldson and Thomas O'Brien of Villanova. ...In fall singles play, junior Shane Korber went 4-7 with the four wins coming at the expense of Cornell's Bernardo Casares, 5-6; 6-5; 6-3, and Penn's Zach Katz, 6-4; 6-1, at the Farnsworth Invitational...Also defeated Johns Hopkins' Jeremy Dubin, 6-4; 6-2, and Norfolk State's Daniel Grauel, 6-3; 6-1, at the Georgetown Classic...Finished fall doubles play with a 3-6 mark while ebing paired with Jordan Portner once and Yannik Manlangu twice... Korber/Mahlangu won their first two doubles matches together at the Georgetown Classic against a pair from ASA, 8-0, and Johns Hopkins, 8-3.
2012-2013: During his sophomore season, Korber went 17-17 for singles play overall for the year...Won eight singles matches in the fall and nine in the spring...won five straight matches from March 15 - March 30...In fall doubles play, he went 5-5 with Daniel Khanin (3-4) and John Brosens (2-1)...For spring doubles play, Korber finished with a 11-9 record, which gave him an overall 16-14 doubles record for the season...Korber was paired with Alex Tropiano for all 20 of his spring doubles matches.
2011-2012: Korber went 14-14 in his overall singles play for fall and spring...He won nine matches in the fall...Played from the first, second, third and fourth positions for the spring season...In doubles play, Korber went 7-7 winning once with Alex Tropiano, twice with John Brosens and four times with Andrew Dottino.
