WASHINGTON – Georgetown men’s tennis finished off their fall schedule at the ITA Regionals in Blacksburg, Va. as hosted by Virginia Tech this past weekend. Sophomore Daniel Khanin, junior Alex Tropiano and senior captain Casey Distaso all won their opening round singles main draw matches in straight sets, but did not move beyond the round of 64. Junior Shane Korber and freshman Yannik Mahlangu defeated a pair from St. Joseph in their doubles main draw first round match, 8-6. Distaso and Tropiano also won their first round doubles match, 8-5, against a pair from Richmond. The men look to build on their fall matches going into their 2014 schedule, which beings on Jan. 17.
