WASHINGTON - On the second day of competition at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, five Hoyas turned in personal best (PR) performances en route to garnering spots in Sunday’s finals. The three-day event, hosted by Boston University, is a fixture in the indoor postseason.
Jody-Ann Knight (Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville) continued her stellar season, running another PR in the 200-meter dash, improving upon her time from just last week by more than one-quarter of a second. The junior now holds the sixth-fastest time in program history.
Additionally, a quartet of GU men ran PRs in their events as Kenny Rowe (Cockeysville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) moved on to the 800-meter finals on Sunday, Eion Nohilly (Golden’s Bridge, N.Y./John Jay) solidified his spot to the 1,000-meter finals and a trio of Hoyas advanced to the mile finals with Nick Golebiowski (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral) and Jack Van Scoter (Pasadena, Calif./Flintridge Prep) touting their bests.
