Meagan Barry was hired as the Director of Basketball Operations in June of 2008. Barry will focus on the day-to-day operations of the Hoya women's program including team travel arrangements, equipment and film exchange as well as coordinating all aspects of the Georgetown Girls Basketball Camp. Barry, a 2008 Georgetown University graduate, is no stranger to the Hoya athletic department. The Silver Spring, Md., native was a student office manager for the Georgetown football team in each of her four years on the Hilltop. In addition, Barry was the scoreboard and game clock operator for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse and football games. Barry has also been involved in coaching youth lacrosse in the Washington, D.C. area for the past three years. "Meagan certainly knows her way around Georgetown's athletic department and showed a tremendous amount of dedication as a student worker," said Coach Flournoy. "She's comes to our program highly regarded." |
