Tasha Harris joined the staff in November 2010 as the director of basketball operations. Harris came to the Hilltop from the public school system after spending time as an English teacher.

Her focus is on the day-to-day operations of the Hoya women's program including team travel arrangements, gameday management and player involvement in the community as well as coordinating all aspects of the Georgetown Girls Basketball Camp.

Prior to working with the school system, Harris was an adjunct faculty member at Cincinnati State Community College where she taught composition and served as an online instructor. Harris also spent two years as an English teacher instructing below-level reading classes to move students to their appropriate grade level at Hyattsville Middle School.

Harris graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in integrated strategic communications and English. She did her graduate work at the University of Louisville earning a master's in secondary education in 2006. While at Kentucky, Harris was a manager for the women's basketball team assisting in almost every aspect of the program.

She resides in Silver Spring, Md.
