WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball program announced that registration for both its individual and team camps is now open. Interested campers can click hereto get more information and to sign up online.
The Georgetown Girl's Basketball Camp provides an educational and competitive environment for girls between the ages of 8-18.
During camp, the girls will be able to work with Georgetown's coaches and current as well as previous players. The campers will engage daily in lectures, skill improving stations, and team games. This elite camp will provide the necessary skills for our campers to move to the next level as competitive basketball players.
Camp activities are held in the legendary McDonough Arena located on the Georgetown University campus.
All campers will receive a certificate of attendance along with a Nike camp t-shirt.
The individual camp has both a commuter and overnight option. It will be held on the Georgetown campus August 1-4, 2012.
The Georgetown Women's Basketball Team Camp will run June 22-24, 2012 at the Capital Sports Complex.
Each team will play at least four games against teams of similar ability. Teams will be divided into leagues by coaches or by competition level.
Leagues will include junior varsity, varsity and AAU teams ranging from ages 14-17.
Each camper will receive a Georgetown t-shirt. A $100 per team deposit is required by June 1, 2012.
Per NCAA rules, all sports camps and clinics conducted by Georgetown University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender or number restriction as specified by each camp.
