WASHINGTON - Georgetown Head Coach Terri Williams-Flournoy will appear on Washington Post Live this afternoon on Comcast SportsNet. Williams-Flournoy and the Hoyas are in the midst of a busy week with the final five games of the season being played over a ten-day span. Georgetown will host the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks on Thursday at McDonough Arena in a makeup game from mid-December that was postponed due to a blizzard.

The No. 13/11 Hoyas are coming off a 70-54 victory at Villanova Tuesday evening. Georgetown got off to a sluggish start and trailed 34-29 at the half with the Wildcats fueled by eight three's in the first. However, the Hoyas came back in the second closing out the game with a 20-4 run and allowing only four Nova field goals in the second half to get the victory. The Blue & Gray is 23-4 overall and 12-2 in BIG EAST play sitting in a tie for second in the league with just two conference games remaining. The Hoyas have had the fastest season to 20 wins in program history and have been ranked in the national polls since early January making this one of the most successful seasons ever.
Rodgers leads the squad with 18.3 ppg and junior Monica McNutt (Suitland, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) is averaging 11.2 ppg.
The Gamecocks are 9-18 overall and 6-11 in Ohio Valley Conference play. JSU defeated Tennessee State in its last game 67-65 with Danielle Vaughn leading the way scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds.
