The Skinny
With the BIG EAST Championship looming on the horizon, Georgetown is fighting to improve its seeding for the tournament, starting with a win against St. Johnís. The Hoyas have struggled in their last three BIG EAST contests, falling in succession to the top three conference teams. Finding themselves in the ninth spot, with a little help Georgetown can finish as high as the eighth seed.

The Red Storm are facing elimination from the BIG EAST Championship which would mean missing the tournament for the second season in a row. The Storm have struggled at home this season, winning just two games at Alumni Hall, both out of conference.

Georgetown is led by the inside-outside threat of Rebekkah Brunson and Mary Lisicky. Brunson is coming off her eighth 20+ point performance of the season against UConn while Lisicky continues to climb GUís single season record list for three point field goals. The Storm are led by Shemika Stevens and her 12.9 ppg.
