WASHINGTON - The 2014 Coach A's Basketball Camps opened registration for all three sessions on Tuesday. Georgetown University Head Women's Basketball Coach Natasha Adair will host Team Camp, Elite Camp and Day Camp at McDonough Arena this summer.
Team Camp will run the weekend of June 6-8. It is a fun and intense environment designed to challenge each team to compete as a group. Teams will participate in at least four games over the weekend. Varsity, JV, and middle school divisions are all offered. AAU teams are also welcome to participate.
Elite Camp is a one-day event on June 14. All players, age 13-18, are invited to join the women's basketball staff and select players as they conduct a camp geared toward skill development and position-specific skill work. Campers will receive personal attention, gain overall knowledge of the game and learn take-home drills for further development. Also included are 5-on-5 and individual competitions.
Day Camp will run August 4-6 at McDonough Arena from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Players will learn to dribble, pass, shoot, defend and be part of a team. Campers will engage in races, skill improvement and team games. The camp is open to girls ages 8-18.
Interested campers can register via mail by downloading the application or online through www.GeorgetownGirlsBasketballCamps.com. For more information, please visit Georgetown's athletic website.
