Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University head women's basketball coach Terri Williams-Flournoy annonced that Georgetown alumnae Meagan Barry has been hired as Director of Basketball Operations.

Barry will focus on on the day-to-day operations of the Hoya women's program including team travel arrangements, equipment, film exchange as well as coordinating all aspects of the Georgetown Women's Basketball Camp

Barry is no stranger to the Hoya athletic department. The Silver Spring, Md. native was a student office manager for the Georgetown football office, designing recruiting materials in addition to helping to coordinate work study schedules in each of her four years on the Hilltop.

In addition, Barry was the scorebard and game clock operator for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse and football games.

Barry has also been heavily involved in youth lacrosse programs in the Washington, D.C. area for the past three years.

"Meagan certainly knows her way around Georgetown's athletic department and showed a tremendous amount of dedication as a student worker," said Coach Flournoy. "She's comes to our program highly regarded."
