WASHINGTON - The BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament will return to Allstate Arena in suburban Chicago for a second consecutive year the conference announced on Thursday. The 2015 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament will take place at the 18,500-seat professional facility March 7-10 in Rosemont, Ill., with all nine games slated to be played at Allstate Arena.

The BIG EAST held its women's basketball tournament at Allstate Arena for the first time in March of 2014, with quarterfinal, semifinal and championship games played in Rosemont following first round contests at DePaul's McGrath-Phillips Arena. "We are very excited to bring the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament back to Chicago and Allstate Arena in 2015," said BIG EAST Commissioner Val Ackerman. "With the help of Allstate and DePaul University, we look forward to providing a first-class experience for our student-athletes and coaches and offering a competitive and entertaining sports event for women's basketball supporters in Chicagoland and from around our conference."

The BIG EAST Tournament First Round will feature two games on March 7, with times yet to be determined. Quarterfinals will follow on March 8, starting at noon, CST, and continuing at 2:30, 6 and 8:30 p.m. A bid to the title game will be on the line in the semifinals at 5:30 and 8 p.m. on March 9. The BIG EAST Championship game will be March 10 at 7 p.m.
