Elizabeth Dennison returned to Georgetown in the fall of 2007 as an assistant coach. Dennison is assisting with both the Openweight and Lightweight Varsity Women's squads.
Prior to returning to Washington, D.C, Dennison spent the last year helping to coach the freshman women's squad at Syracuse University while attending graduate school. She was responsible for coaching the Novice Women's Four that earned a Silver Medal at the 2007 Eastern Sprints.
A 2006 graduate of Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, Dennison was a four- year member of the Georgetown University Women's Openweight Rowing team, sitting in the Varsity boat for three years. Dennison captained the team her junior and senior years from 2004-2006. She was named the Greg Carroll Spirit Award Winner in 2005 and the Most Valuable Player in 2006.
During her college career, Dennison gained experience coaching scholastic and masters rowers at the Cazenovia Rowing Club near Syracuse, N.Y. serving as Head Coach for five summers.
Dennison is a USRowing Level III Certified Coach and currently works for the Department of Homeland Security in Washington D.C.
