Camden, N.J. - The Georgetown women's rowing team opened their spring season at the 10th Annual Jesuit Invitational, as the Georgetown freshman eight captured the freshman eight race and Georgetown B and Georgetown A finished third and fifth respectively in the varsity eight race.

Georgetown "B" included Morgan McGovern, Laura Donaldson, Liz Stanowski, Erin Landy, Jacqueline Pasulka, Lili Myer, Alex Vezina and bow Katherine Thompson finished in third place at +:18.08.

Georgetown "A" finished in fifth place in +:23.81. The boat consisted of cox Amy Parks, Jade-Isis Lefebvre, Rebecca Kisner, Melissa Horne, Amy Tenet, Meg Ginivan, Bridget Stinson, Jordan Albright and bow Bridget Roddy.

The winning freshmen eight consisted of cox Elizabeth Jacobsen, Mimi Inuzuka, Taylor Dana, Angela Nelson, Claire McKinley, Sydney LeGuyander, Sarah Quehrn, Julia Camargo, and bow Jackie Fogarty. They finished in a time of 7:15.27.
