Field Hockey to Play Senior Game Against Villanova

The Hoyas return home for their last BIG EAST game at the William I. Jacobs Recreational Complex.

2010: Started in each of the Hoyas' 19 games as a junior ... Tallied three defensive saves on the season, which tied her for third in the BIG EAST ... Had one defensive save each in games against Louisville (September 17), Davidson (September 26) and Villanova (October 22).

2009: Started 16 of the 19 games played on defense during her sophomore season ... Played in all of the team's BIG EAST Conference games, staring five of them.

2008: Played and started in each of the Hoyas' 17 games during her freshman season, mostly on defense.

High School: Nishino, a three-year letterwinner, earned all-league and all-section honorable mention honors following her senior year ... Helped lead Rye High School to a New York State Championship during her senior year ... Also earned three letters apiece in track and lacrosse ... Earned the English Award for creativity ... Elected class Vice President ... member of the National Honor Society.
