June 14, 2018

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University Field Hockey Head Coach Christy Longacre, entering her first season on the Hilltop, has announced that six newcomers have joined the program as members of the Georgetown Class of 2022. The six incoming freshmen, who hail from five different states, will join the Hoyas this fall for the 2018 season.

“We are beyond excited to welcome the 2018 signees to our Hoya field hockey family,” Longacre said. “This group is extremely skilled and each individual has a true passion for the game. They are a disciplined group and each of them has a strong desire to excel on and off the field. We look forward to their arrival this August and can't wait to see what each young woman will bring to this team as we continue to build on the culture of the program.”
