The Georgetown University field hockey team will take on Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, September 2 at 7 p.m. The Hoyas (0-2) enter the match looking for their first win of the season.

The match will be the first of the season for the Mountain Hawks. In 2010, Lehigh played to a record of 3-13 and 2-7. They return Caitlin Donnelly, their leader in goals and points last season.

Charlotte Tierney (Rye, N.Y./Holy Child) had two goals, while Kimberly Keating (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Merion Mercy Academy), Catherine Shugrue (Devon, Pa./Episcopal Academy), and Laura Thistle (Glenside, Pa./Mount Saint Joseph Academy), all had one goal apiece. Annie Wilson (Darien, Conn./Darien) had two assists in the victory.

The Hoyas enter the contest following two losses against Davidson (1-0) and LaSalle (1-0).  Georgetown has averaged 14 shots per game, compared to their opponents with 15.5 shots per game.  They have also inserted more penalty corners, with 22, compared to their opponents with ten.
