Jo Finishes in 12th Place, Georgetown Takes Sixth at Hoya Invitational

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University senior women's golfer Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) shot a 3-over par 75 in the final round and the Hoyas posted their best round of the tournament to finish in sixth place among 11 teams at the Seventh Annual Hoya Invitational, played at The Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.

Old Dominion shot a final round 19-over par 307 and topped the 11-team field at 80-over par 944, three shots ahead of Eastern Michigan. St. John's and Nova Southeastern, who tied for second place at 83-over par 947. Penn placed fifth at 95-over par 959, while the Hoyas were sixth at 102-over par 966.

Elizabeth Haycock of Old Dominion won the individual competition, shooting a 7-over par 223, with a 2-over par 74 in the final round.

Jo shot a final round 3-over par 75 and was Georgetown's top finisher, finishing in 12th among 68 golfers at 23-over par 239. She had struggled with a 9-over par 81 in the first round and posted an 11-over par 83 in the second round.

Senior Joan Dulieu (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Day) shot a 9-over par 81 in the final round and finished in a tie for 16th place at 25-over par 241.
